A murder suspect who escaped from a Fort Lauderdale courtroom is so slippery that for nearly two years, police said they had no idea how he sneaked in and out of the Davie gated community where he allegedly robbed and killed a member of the Halliburton family.

But in a new lawsuit, the victim’s widower claims the killer walked right in through an unsecured entrance at the northeast corner of the Westridge community — and he wants those in charge of the property’s security to pay.
