Palm Beach Circuit Judge Meenu Sasser made the shortlist for a vacancy on the Fourth District Court of Appeal the same day she was reversed by the appellate court.
The Fourth DCA ruled Wednesday that cigarette manufacturer Philip Morris USA Inc. was not entitled to Sasser’s directed verdict, which cleared it in the death of smoker Helen Cohen.
