Akerman partner Whitney Untiedt was recognized as the Daily Business Review’s Attorney of the Year at its annual professional excellence event.
Untiedt was selected for pulling together a pro bono team to represent 1,500 juveniles serving long-term or life sentences after the Florida Supreme Court found those lengthy sentences unconstitutional in March 2015.
