LOL! All you can do in support of continuing this wasteful expenditure is trot out 3 whining statements from LSC Bd. members and the head of the permissive ABA? Sorry, those outfits do NOT represent the mainstream of American legal thought, and not just because of the ABA‘s dwindling membership, which is rivaled only by the ever-lower number of NYTimes subscribers; it hardly speaks for all American lawyers. The LSC is just another Great Society parasite; get rid of it and the otherwise unemployable third-tier attorneys who staff it at the taxpayers‘ expense, and let them and their profligate clients complete in the legal marketplace like the rest of us. LSC? End it NOW!
