Twenty-five years ago, the Florida legal community was battered by Hurricane Andrew, the most destructive Category 5 monster to ever hit the state. Now, many of those same lawyers are preparing for Irma, expected to bring even wider destruction should it make landfall here. We asked lawyers who’d been through Andrew what lessons they learned about the impact to their practices and how changes in technology could blunt Irma’s blows.
