Broward County attorneys had a banner month, but in a bad way. The Florida Supreme Court disciplined four lawyers from the county, including three who were charged with felonies, the Florida Bar announced Tuesday.

David Rothenberg of Fort Lauderdale was permanently disbarred after pleading guilty in federal court to possessing child pornography. Rothenberg was sentenced to 17½ years in prison. The former attorney was arrested last year on charges of possessing more than 1,000 images and videos containing child pornography, which he allegedly exchanged using online chatrooms. He was caught by an undercover agent and pleaded guilty.
