The years-long court battle between the Miccosukee Tribe and Miami firm Lewis Tein is flaring up again—but this time, the tables have turned.
Lewis Tein and its founding partners, Guy Lewis and Michael Tein, sued the tribe Aug. 23 for damaging them personally and professionally by pursuing frivolous racketeering and malpractice lawsuits against them. Lewis Tein did legal work for the tribe from 2005 to 2010.
