After filing to run for re-election and depositing $100,000 into her campaign account, Miami-Dade County Court Judge Judy Rubenstein had a change of heart.
She withdrew her papers Feb. 29 and announced she will retire from the bench in January. She served in the county domestic violence division for most of her 16 years on the bench.
