Raoul Cantero began his argument to the Florida Supreme Court on Monday by saying a proposed solar energy ballot proposal is “simple and straightforward.”
But at least two justices didn’t appear to agree with their former colleague, now a partner with White & Case in Miami. Justices Barbara Pariente and Peggy Quince expressed perplexity about what the Consumers for Smart Solar amendment would add to the Florida Constitution.
