A bankruptcy judge ordered the U.S. Marshals Service on Thursday to arrest a West Palm Beach jewelry store owner for failing to turn over bank records after he was accused of misappropriating investor funds from another business.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Erik Kimball ordered authorities to find Shamrock Jewelers Inc. owner Anthony Simpson and bring him to court after repeatedly failing to surrender his records. Federal marshals are authorized to incarcerate Simpson until his next court appearance.
