The state attorney general’s office on Monday announced a stipulated consent judgment was reached with two Parkland companies offering credit counseling and debt management services to consumers in 48 states.
Financial Help Services Inc., Nation Wide Consumer Debt Relief Inc. and the companies’ president, Bobby R. Blackmon, were accused of taking clients’ money but never paying off their debts.
