Former champion Cuban-born boxer Rances Barthelemy settled a case his former promoter filed against him over proceeds from a 2014 Miami bout, the promoter announced Thursday.

Miami-based Bad Dog Productions sued Barthelemy in June 2014, claiming he cut the company out of proceeds from his fight with Argenis Mendez for the IBF super featherweight championship. The suit also named as defendants Warriors Boxing and Promotions LLC and promoter Alan Haymon, alleging they helped cut out Bad Dog.
