U.S. Magistrate Judge John J. O’Sullivan on Tuesday approved an agreement by Anheuser-Busch Cos. to pay Beck’s beer drinkers about $20 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging the packaging misled consumers into thinking Beck’s was imported.

About 1.7 million households are part of the class, meaning the settlement value is expected to range from about $20.5 million to $28.9 million, according to the class counsel, Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton in Coral Gables.
