The word of the day at Addison Mizner Elementary must be “lawsuit” after a father sued the Boca Raton school over his son’s kindergarten class size.

Miami attorney Paul Kunz raised a constitutional challenge Sept. 25 against the Palm Beach County school district and Superintendent Robert Avossa. The seven-page complaint seeks declaratory and injunctive relief, and accuses the school of violating the 18-student limit provided in Florida’s Constitution for pre-kindergarten through grade 3 classrooms.
