A Miami-Dade Circuit judge entered a $4.9 million default judgment against a convicted fraudster who pretended to be an accountant and allegedly stole tax money from a doctor and his wife.

Daniel and Erin Feder hired Howard Morgan as their accountant in 2007 and 2009. They gave him blank signed checks to pay their personal income taxes, including taxes on income from their businesses, South Florida Pain and Rehabilitation of West Broward Inc. and Florida Spine and Joint Institute LLC.
