Holland & Knight has agreed to pay $5 million to settle a $14 million malpractice suit alleging two of its Miami attorneys helped an investor defraud his partner.
The proposed settlement is pending before U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert A. Mark, with a hearing set for Sept. 26.
