Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton represented longtime client Mexican state oil company Petroleos Mexicanos in a $4.8 billion-equivalent Regulation S offering of debt securities in euros.
The transaction, which closed Tuesday, is reported to be the largest euro-denominated emerging-market corporate-bond offering on record, Cleary Gottlieb said.
