A wise man once said, “whatever your dream is, every extra penny you have needs to be going to that.”

Palm Beach County voters apparently had this in mind when approving the county’s one penny sales tax referendum on Nov. 8, 2016. The tax, which took effect Jan. 1, is expected to generate an estimated $2.7 billion in new tax revenue over the next 10 years for use on all kinds of governmental projects the county has been dreaming about.
