The Florida Supreme Court considered Thursday whether to strike down a 2013 Florida law allowing health care providers facing medical malpractice claims to question the plaintiff’s other doctors in secret.
“Who’s there to object if something inadvertently comes out, if the plaintiff’s attorney can’t be present?” Justice James Perry asked during oral arguments for Weaver v. Myers on Thursday.
