Now that Floridians have voted to legalize medical marijuana, some lawyers’ phones will be ringing off the hook. A handful of South Florida firms have worked to make sure they’re the ones on the other end of the line.

“We saw a tremendous opportunity because law firms are the epicenter for the medical marijuana business,” said Howard Wander, principal partner and chief operating officer of Kelley Kronenberg in West Palm Beach. “Everything that is going to happen in the space somehow is going to touch a law firm.”
