Ruben Diaz Jr., the long-time general counsel at Nicaragua’s Grupo Pellas, has taken on a new post as co-chairman of Hughes Hubbard & Reed’s Latin America practice in Miami.
Diaz said Hughes Hubbard has had a long relationship with Grupo Pellas and he will continue to advise the family-owned agribusiness and real estate conglomerate as external counsel on corporate transactions.
