Bill Carvalho, former Yahoo Inc. vice president and general counsel of the Americas, has started a new job at the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football in the newly created position of chief legal and chief compliance officer.

Carvalho, a Brazilian-born soccer fan, will lead the legal and compliance areas of the federation, including managing the legal affairs and overseeing the daily operations of CONCACAF’s compliance and integrity programs. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
