The HistoryMiami Museum will recognize six lawyers at its annual Legal Legends event Nov. 3.

The honorees are retired Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Gill Freeman, who presided over the complex business litigation section; former Third District Court of Appeal Judge Melvia Green, the first black woman circuit judge in Florida; litigator Alan Greer of Richman Greer, a longtime Camillus House board member; the late Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Roberto Pineiro, who presided over the corruption trial of City Commissioner Humberto Hernandez; former Florida Bar president Herman Russomanno of Russomanno & Borrello; and litigator Joseph H. Serota of Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, who was instrumental in the Dade County Courthouse restoration.
