Nationstar Mortgage LLC suffered an “unwarranted and excessive sanction” when a trial court dismissed its foreclosure case over a scheduling conflict with a witness, an appellate court found before reversing in the lender’s favor.
Nationstar brought suit against homeowner Alejandro Castro, who obtained a $352,000 residential mortgage loan for a Miami Beach condominium in 2006.
