The home of Fort Lauderdale’s landmark Elbo Room bar is up for sale as part of a beachfront retail portfolio priced at nearly $7.8 million.
The 1930s-era watering hole isn’t going anywhere with about 23 years left on a long-term lease. The bar was featured in the 1960 film “Where the Boys Are” and with live music was a mecca in Fort Lauderdale’s spring break heyday.
