With oral argument in Stahl v. Hialeah Hospital, the Florida Supreme Court has heard three workers’ compensation challenges — the most recent attacking not just parts of the statute, but the whole thing.
Workers’ advocates responded to Justice Barbara Pariente’s suggestion that they take on the entrenched system. She apparently agrees that workers have too little to show for trading away their right to sue over job-related injuries.
