A Wellington painter who accused UPS Inc. of systematically stealing art from packages and reselling it won a victory in the Florida Supreme Court on Thursday.
The court rejected UPS’s federal preemption claim, finding the Carmack Amendment on interstate commerce did not absolve the company of liability for losses due to intentional misconduct.
