Charles Lucas was headed to the hospital for the birth of his first child when he was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Miami nightclub.
Lucas’ parents soon came to believe the 2011 shooting was the result of a series of security failures by the owners of the strip mall, tenant Kaffe Krystal Nightclub and the security company hired by the strip mall.
