Just 19, the woman was lured to Miami from the Caribbean by a boyfriend with promises of a good job and a good life.
Instead, she wound up a victim of human trafficking, forced to dance at a strip club and then prostitute herself in the streets of Miami. When she wasn’t working, her pimp kept her locked in a house in Miramar with other young victims.
