The Florida Board of Bar Examiners is the latest organization to come out against reciprocity and motion by admission, proposals that would allow out-of-state lawyers to practice in Florida without passing the bar exam.

In a letter to a Florida Bar Vision 2016 group Tuesday, board executive director Michele Gavagni said the board “has considered the issue of admission on motion and does not support the adoption of this method for the admission of attorneys to the Florida Bar.”
