A team of South Florida attorneys won an uncapped settlement and a promise from Anheuser-Busch Cos. that it will be more straightforward with consumers about where it brews Beck’s beer—a domestic, not imported brew.

The false advertising class action lawsuit alleged the company generated more sales by leading consumers to believe they were buying a beer imported from Germany when Beck’s is actually brewed in St. Louis. Anheuser-Busch agreed as part of the settlement to feature prominent “Product of USA” labeling on its U.S.-brewed Beck’s beer.
