David Bianchi, a trial lawyer with Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, knows a little bit about money. The name partner at the Miami firm graduated magna cum laude with a degree in economics from Tufts University in 1976 and since then has supplemented his law practice as a corporate officer and investor. Yet it wasn’t his experience working in and for corporations that prompted Bianchi to write a financial book, but rather his 13-year-old son.

Bianchi said a project to offer pointers to his teenager about money and finance evolved into a full-fledged children’s book—”Blue Chip Kids: What Every Child and Parent Should Know About Money, Investing and the Stock Market”—released in hardcover by financial publisher Wiley.
