The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday rejected the ethics punishment negotiated for Broward Circuit Judge Cynthia Imperato after a drunken-driving arrest.
Imperato agreed with the state Judicial Qualifications Commission in March to a 20-day unpaid suspension, $5,000 fine, public reprimand and alcohol treatment based on her arrest in Boca Raton.
