Just weeks after the Federal Aviation Administration pushed against plans for high-flying Miami skyscrapers, developers are joining efforts to save projects and keep Washington regulators from setting them back in the future.
Miami-Dade County and Miami are lobbying the FAA to sign off on towers as tall as 1,049 feet above sea level in parts of downtown Miami and the Brickell financial district.
