The Florida Supreme Court has disciplined 12 South Florida attorneys, including two who were disbarred.
Michael Darren Bon of Coral Gables was disbarred and ordered to pay $20,262 restitution to his former law firm. Bon was accused of charging excessive fees and submitting fraudulent bills to his law firm and clients. The Bar cited 86 billing irregularities in cases handled by Bon in 2008 and 2009.
