Former Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Cristina Pereyra, also the former star of a courtroom TV program, has joined JAMS in Miami as an arbitrator and mediator.
Pereyra became a Miami-Dade County judge in 1999 and was elevated to the circuit bench in 2005. Two years later, she left to preside over the first national Spanish-language court reality program “Veredicto Final,” which translates to final verdict. In 2011, she became Univision’s in-house legal correspondent.
