A Cuban-American music superstar couple sold their Bay Point house, bidding goodbye to the ritzy Miami neighborhood they’ve lived in for over 20 years.
Willy Chirino and his wife Lissette bought the 10,416-square-foot home at 4400 Island Road for $795,000 in April 1992. They sold the property for $4.17 million in a transaction that closed Aug. 21, according to two brokers involved in the deal. The property was listed for $5.75 million. Luis Reyes of Avatar Real Estate Services and longtime broker-to-the-stars Carlos Justo brokered the deal for the seller.
