As a lawyer actively serving clients in this new practice area I question my own knowledge and ability to serve my clients from time to time as I think any good practitioner must do. I am disappointed that we as professionals are quick to point out or question another lawyers suitability or experience openly. I have heard lawyers (whose names shall go unspoken) mention their "marijuana consulting" website address no less that 10 times during their informational presentation at a "seminar". The truth is snake oil salesman are starting to take over many areas of the medical marijuana industry in Florida and its not even legal yet. We as professionals need to realize that this practice area should be no different than the plaintiffs P.I bar or criminal defense bar and work together to best serve our clients through collaboration and cooperation.
