A divided New York state appellate panel on Thursday dismissed a malpractice lawsuit accusing Greenberg Traurig partner Leslie Corwin and the firm of submitting a forged document in a lawsuit against a private equity firm. The decision reversed a lower court judge.

Corwin was accused of concealing information from the court about the loss of a page in a document that was the basis for a motion to dismiss an Apollo Medical Fund Management LLC complaint. Apollo was sued by its principal, Brandon Fradd, to recover membership shares of profits under a 1998 operating agreement.
