A Colombian soft-gel capsule manufacturer is seeking an injunction in Miami federal court to stop a major pharmaceutical company from keeping a recently acquired competitor based in Europe.
Procaps S.A., the largest soft-gel capsule maker in South America, wants to stop Patheon Inc., a Canadian pharmaceutical manufacturer with its U.S. headquarters in Durham, North Carolina, from controlling Banner Pharmacaps Europe B.V., a global market leader in soft-gel capsules manufacturing and marketing.
