The Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission filed formal charges against Leon County Judge Judith W. Hawkins for allegedly using her judicial office to promote a private interest.
According to the charges, her company, Gaza Road Ministries, posted photographs on its website of Hawkins wearing judicial robes while seated at the bench. Those images have since been removed.
