An accused killer whose case forced the removal of Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Milton Hirsch as trial judge will remain behind bars.

The Third District Court of Appeal disqualified Hirsch on Nov. 9 after he said at a bond hearing that relatives of the dead man showed “great disrespect” for him and the judicial system by complaining on the Spanish-language Telemundo network about his plan to place murder defendant Emin Rosales Ramirez under house arrest with $100,000 bail.
