    if a judge comments on how laws are not harsh enough or challenges every criminal defense attorney it is doubtful proceedings would be brought. of course, when you challenge the status quo and law enforcement officers proceedings are brought against you.

    there are many judges who do far worse than state their reasonable belief that there is some racism in law enforcement, that possibly two men being charge with a lascivious act would not have been charged if they were a man and a woman or that the State Attorney's Office was refusing to dismiss a case that they should. not one of these ideas is outlandish or far fetched yet the Judge is actually being sanctioned for saying as much. When a Judge prejudges one of my cases I am told to file a Motion for Recusal, meanwhile the State Attorney's Office gets a JQC proceeding implemented.
