A $6.62 million liability judgment against Union Carbide Corp. in an asbestos case filed by a former construction worker was thrown out Wednesday by the Third District Court of Appeal.
The three-judge panel ordered a new trial be held on whether the company adequately warned its industrial customers of potential hazards its products might pose.
