Commercial litigator Gwynne Young, a shareholder at Carlton Fields in Tampa, will be sworn in Friday as the 64th president of The Florida Bar, the nation’s second-largest state bar association, during its annual conference in Orlando.

Young has served on The Bar’s board of governors since 2003 and the federal judicial nominating committee since 2010. She won a three-way race, the first since 1983, to secure the presidency in 2010. She will be the fifth woman to lead The Bar.
