The University of Miami School of Law is sending graduates into the field to gain work experience through a new public interest fellowship program called Legal Corps.
Six-month fellowships will give recent law school graduates with bar membership an opportunity to practice law with federal and state agencies, judges and nonprofit organizations. The nationwide fellowship program will allow unemployed graduates who finished school since last December to earn $2,500 monthly stipends funded through donations and law school funds.
