Life unraveled fast for Christian Lopez.
Like many military veterans, he was rushing through Spain, Italy and Greece and helping train allied forces in the Middle East. During his four-year stint as a machine gunner in the U.S. Marine Corps, Lopez also deployed to Okinawa Island in Japan and Jordan.
