Florida Power & Light Co. has been asking Verizon Florida LLC for years to pay charges totaling $2.6 million — but now the utility has a reason to ask, “Can you hear me now?”
The Juno Beach-based energy company won a final judgment against Verizon on Oct. 23, with Miami-Dade Circuit Judge John Thornton awarding FPL $2.9 million for the underpaid bills plus interest.
