A bankruptcy judge granted an $8.2 million default judgment Thursday against a 50-year-old West Palm Beach jewelry store and its owners.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Erik P. Kimball granted the judgment two weeks after ordering Shamrock Jewelers Inc. to be padlocked in the midst of litigation alleging store co-owner Anthony Simpson misappropriated investor funds from another business.
