On June 16, Gov. Rick Scott signed House Bill 87 into law. This bill makes several key amendments to Chapter 558, Florida Statutes, Florida’s notice and opportunity to cure statute.
The amendments will take effect Oct. 1 and are of significance to those in the construction industry, including owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, as well as condominium associations.
